Hi everybody,
im an editor and want to invest in a separate pc for just adobe media encoder (rack mounted) and a better pc for editing with davinci resolve 15.5 studio and premiere pro cc.
What could you recommend?
at the moment i have:

Intel i74790K
Asus strip 980ti (2 cards in SLI)

samsung 850 evo ssd 1tb

2 WD blacks 3 TB each

asus pro gamer Z97

corsair 850 watt modular power supply

What should I recover from this pc for the next ones, and what hardware would you recommend?

for the rack mount a ryzen 7 system will be fine

jayz 2 cents sayed in one of his videos than its not optimized for more than 8 cores (compared a 8 core and a 10 core cpu and they ware almost the same (but the 10 core had a very small bump in clock and ipc so it wasn't the cores))

Hi Ethocreeper, thanks for your fast response!

to be honest, i am a bit of a fan of intel (sorry...)
what coolers would you recommend, now i have a corsair H100i, but also need one for the rack mounted case (also in need of a good rack mounted case). What gpu's would you recommend for the rack mounted one?

get ryzen, its much better than anything other than the 1000 dollar 6900k

coolers dont make a big difference, for a rack case you normally just have  a passive heatsink

for gpu's you dont neeed much in premiere a gtx 1060 will be fine. or just keep a 980ti
