Hello, Fellow Internet being!

I'm Roy and I come from a small planted called earth, have you heard of it?

Anyway, all jokes aside, I was recently going through my checklist for all my PC specifications that I will need to complete my build,

I am going for a Black and Red theme as they work very well together in my opinion and I would like to customize my Graphic cards

to match this theme.

I have great interest in two graphics cards the,

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

And

MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X

So I plan to start a youtube channel and would like to record in the best possible setting, Shadowplay is a great software and I would like to start using it

for recording and other needs, but the one question is,

Is the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X Compatible with Shadowplay?

If this is not an answer I will continue with the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 and use Open Broadcaster Software [OBS] as an Alternative to this if someone could help me

further and tell me if my specs will be able to properly record with OBS and various Graphically Demanding Games Such as GTA V, Farcry 4, Arma 3 and Counter Strike Global Offensive.

If you could help me with this it would be very much appreciated as I have been searching for a solution to my question.

Does the

fit into the Criteria as it is going to be in 2 way SLI so would it still work?

Yes. Anything Geforce will work with shadowplay

generally here we use PC Part Picker to determine if things are compatible. Try plugging your stuff into that website. Makes things nice and easy.

oh yes I forgot to remove them when I was considering the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080,

But I can not find various parts as the ASUS Rampage V Edition 10.

Edition 10? Never heard of it before

As stated above, use PCPartpicker to test compatibility. Your CPU and motherboard are not compatible, which is why it's not showing up in PCPartpicker for you.

I have a few issues with the build overall, regardless of the incompatibility:

Why not get faster RAM?

Why two SSD's, and why those in particular?

Who two GTX 1080's instead of one or two 1080 Ti's?

Why that case instead of a normal case and cooler?

Why that PSU instead of something like an EVGA P2 (if you need a high efficiency power supply at all)?
