With all these special clubs here in the off-topic area I am hereby proposing yet another one: the runners club! I am sure there are some people around here as well, who enjoy a jog now and then. All you need to do is post your last run! This can either be an app screenshot like Runtastic or just the hard facts in a quick post. Maybe we can encourage each other this way! Imma get the conversation started with a very modest run. This is actually my first jog this summer and I am horribly out of shape anyways, here goes nothing!

i also want to stress that we want all results here, no matter how fast, slow or long you were running/walking/jogging or even sprinting. And it should be obvious etiquette not to talk down anyone's results here.

Also this can be a Place to keep track of your improvements/ set goals etc.!

What do you all think of this?

I would say that's good, better than the average person, you could do a 10K within 60 minutes. Assuming I'm reading that german correctly. I used to be able to get a 9.5 on the beep test, almost 10.

Thanks for the reply! I ran a half-marathon last year (21km) in about 1:55h :) never been so exhausted before lol. I immediately started freezing after I finished it. What is the beep test?

Essentially you have to get across 20m at the beep or before beep.

The Standard test has 21 levels, and each level consists of a different number of shuttles. The test is performed by running between two markers placed 20 meters (65.6 feet) apart, at an increasing pace as indicated by the beeps. The test ends when you can no longer keep pace, or level 21 is completed. - from http://beepfitness.com/help.html

We always do it every 2 weeks in gym during High School to gauge how well your fitness is. From Grade 9-12, Males are expected to get their corresponding Level - Grade, females are slightly below that.

End of Grade 9 I had Level 8, and end of Grade 12 it was 9.5. You just feel you can't breathe or walk properly, and just start to slow down when your're done.
