I am planning on building my first PC in the next month or so. Currently I play games like Planet Coaster, Cities Skylines, and Rocket League. I also do some 1080P video editing from time to time. I would like to have a build around $700 - $900 Any suggestions?

Just Windows 10 and a wireless network adapter. I have everything else already as peripherals go.

Is the 1600X worth the extra money over the 1600? It still keeps things in my price range.

nope. just get a 1600 and overclock, performance will be the same.
