So i have a corsair gaming K95 and completely hate it, i never use the macro keys and typing on it is a pain in the ass. It's my first mechanical keyboard and was never able to get used to it and to be honest the only keyboard i ever feel comfortable using and can be productive with is one of those generic HP keyboards that i've used at every job i use a computer at the only problem is i need something that doesn't cause ghosting while gaming.

what switches did you pick? you could try MX Reds, it's similar to a membrane keyboard but a bit mechanical - it feels quite nice

I have the MX reds and i don't like them one bit, i did try a keyboard at walmart that had brown switches i believe and they didn't feel have bad, but the key caps are large like most if not all mechanical keyboards which is one of the things that also make it hard to type and use. I drag my fingers when typing so i need something that isn't too sensitive as well something where the spacing between the keys isnt too much so my fingers don't get caught hitting the wrong key. I know it's a little complicated but i honestly don't use my desktop as much as I'd like due to my keyboard.

Eh, could just get one of those HP keyboards and use that. Alternatively, try the different switch types until you find one you like.

What? The HP keyboard or trying the switches? If the switches, just go to various stores, ie walmart and bestbuy, and try the keyboards they have on display.

Switches, and okay didn't think of best buy I know walmart only has like 2-3 keyboards on display and the one that i liked the feel of the switch was so high i couldn't even see it so i wouldn't be able to test to see if i can type something on it
