no, 780ti is more 470 level and the 780 is a 1050ti (very generous)

780 Ti is more a 1050 Ti in most case

I think he meant that you said originally 780 is a 1050 Ti but then the link shows 780 beats a 1050Ti

the thing is that they're being tested with new games, which they aren't optimized for - instead run something from that age and see how 1050Ti performs in comparison

something like Metro Last Light and it shines:

on top of that, they're testing the ref 780Ti vs custom cards - overclock the 780Ti and it really, really shines.

idk

not really, and either way, who only wants to play older games? its not good just because it can play some games in niche situations

+200Mhz on 780Ti core and +200Mhz memory and you get 15% better perf - custom cards could also hit upwards of +400Mhz core..

the gamersnexus review was unfair from the start as they didnt overclock the card at all to compete with the custom oc'd cards it's against

idk

Before Maxwell, most of Nvidia's high end video cards came in two variants - a base model and a model with double the memory. The 780 had a 3GB and 6GB model, the 680 had a 2GB and 4GB model, the 580 had a 1.5GB and a 3GB model, etc.

I know there were plenty of them but didn't realise the 780 had a 3GB version. I have the 780 Ti and I'm sure that was 3GB only.. or else I would have bought the 6GB one.

GUYS I WAS TALKING ABOUT A NORMAL GTX 780 NON Ti

I understand that. My comment in regards to the 780 Ti was not directed at you. Instead, refer to my first post here where I discuss the vanilla 780

I gamed for years with the original Titans. Knowing what they can do I vote 780 sli. Every game I play it played in the past 10 years supports sli. It's something with trying at some point. Getting the best card you can isn't always worth it. My gtx 1080 might as well be a coaster, I rarely use it and if I do it isn't worth it.
