Issues with MSI afterburner

so whenever i use msi afterburner with some games i will get crashes. let me explain.
if i ever have msi ab open and try to launch witcher 3, gta 5, and several other games, itll play for a while and crash after around 30 seconds. if i close msi ab and reopen it once the game launches it works fine. msi ab even prevented my from installing my 480 driver as it would crash it one time. it also doesnt work with pubg whatsoever but thats because i modded the game and removed some assets for mp. 
does anyone else have this problem, and if you do, do you know of any fixes?

it is caused by rtss running alongside afterburner

edit: at least thats what i had a while back,working fine now

ok, how do i remove rtss?

you can just uninstall it,it is a seperate program called rivertuner statistics server

might fix it
