External GPU Enclosure

Well the proper terms must be unavailable to my vocabulary because I can't find a external enclosure housing case thing for a gpu.

 

I know I've seen videos about them, but they're all for like +500 USD$ might as well just get a laptop or build a PC with that money

 

And i dont even have that great of a gpu.

I have a Power Color AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB model and it's 255mm long.

 

And I only have just the one, so this begs the question, "best gpu enclosure that's less than 100$ because I don't have the latest and greatest equipment I'm a cheap bastard"

You've got a laptop with Thunderbolt 3?

Ugh. I can't find any under $250 as well.  There really just needs to be a Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe adapter, and then you just hook up a PSU to the card.

Well I left the laptop I did have at my friends last summer and for the life of me I can't remember if it did have one for the life of me

 

On the off chance it doesn't, anything for USB 3.0/1 support?

Not the best way to spend money... desktop with graphics card is the cheapest way to get high performance while buying laptops with graphics cards integrated also gives high performance but at a high price. Using external GPU connector is the worst. Expensive, and not very good performance. As shown by some youtube videos, bandwidth limit on Thunderbolt 3 limits performance a LOT
