I have a budget of about £400 (Approx. $520 USD $708 Canadian) and I am looking for the best CPU and motherboard (and ram if needed) for streaming games. So far I have Intel Core i7-7700 3.6 GHz QuadCore 8 MB Cache CPU - Black,  ASUS PRIME B250M-K Motherboard - Black (Socket 1151/B250/DDR4/S-ATA 600/Micro ATX) and Crucial 16 GB (8 GB x 2) Single Ranked DDR4 2133 MT/s (PC4-17000) DIMM 288-Pin Memory Kit On the list of possible combination but I was wanting to know if anyone else could recommend anything better. I will be soon upgrading my GPU and getting an SSD so please no spam of "you need a better GPU otherwise it will just bottleneck" or "dude get a fragging ssd." My current rig: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4VvBWX. Thanks for reading :)

find a compatible ram from qvl list other than that looks solid. also maybe black for a more neutral looks

I thought the 3000mhz lpx was compatible, most people seem to use LPX with Ryzen (that i've seen anyway) but i'll check out the list.

They could go Ryzen 17, and faster RAM.  Less, but they can save up more for double the amount of ram.

Hmmm interesting thanks. I would of initially looked at ryzen but Im still unsure of the comparisons.
