best password manager
Lastpass did get hacked, but no passwords were successfully dencrypted.
I use Keepass (Keepassxc on desktop to be specific). It's less convenient, but you have full control over your encrypted password database file and it's completely free and open source. Open source programs are more trustworthy because you can read the code and thousands of other people are reading the code every day. Some might think that it would be easier to find an exploit in open source software and they would be right, but with closed source software, a hacker can discover and keep the exploit to themselves without the developers knowing. With popular open source software, exploits are found and patched quickly. I keep my database file on cloud storage and use Keepass2Android to access my passwords on my phone.
