Yo people :D

Im doing some small upgrade to the family used pc and I'm in the middle of rebuilding / cleaning it .

Was thinking should I remove my old cooler master and replace it with a AIO to bring down the noise because the fans ramp up alittle.

It alittle old , specs are a A8 6600k fm2+ with a GTX 750 ti and 600 watt PSU alittle overkill but it is filled with parts I don't use.

Looking to spend around £40/£50.

AIO isn't worth it at all in this case, get a air cooler in that range and it will be MUCH quieter, require much less maintenance and be allround more reliable.

Cheap and Good don't go together when you're talking about water cooling.  In your budget you're not going to find a good AIO, you would be far better off getting a Noctua u14s and a second Noctua PWM fan.  Set it up with a decent fan curve and you will literally never hear it, if you hear anything it's going to be your GPU or your HDD.

edit: I also recommend getting some good thermal paste.  I use Prolimatech pk-3 but there are plenty of good options.

any AIO will keep that cool.  I would just go to the store and get the cheapest they have on the shelf they are all pretty much made by the same 2 or 3 companies.

I kept a 1366 I7950 oc to 3.4 ghz cool with a corsair H50 (single 120 RAD AIO)  One of the early ones from like 5 years ago.

Don't buy used.  You have not clue how old it is or what might be wrong with it.

Said H50 I had for 5 years never had any problems no leaks no bent fins nothing but it just stopped cooling one day.  you could still hear liquid in it and you could hear it circulating but it would not cool.
