Hello guys, I got a webcam today in the mail from my dad, who had it laying around and now that I have it, I can't seem to make it work with Skype. The WebCam model is "V-UAS14" and it looks like this. I was able to find some sort of software for this specific WebCam (Logitech QuickCam) but it doesn't work. Can anyone help me with this before I contact Logitech?

Many thanks, Bruno.

can you use it on native windows 10 camera apps? or does it even show up in Devices and Printer on Control panel?

I can't seem to find a camera app, and yes, it shows up on device manager, and I also can't install the software through that. :S

just search on the start menu and choose camera app, it should come preinstalled.

does skype detect your camera?

most camera should be plug and play on windows 10

That's right, I searched "camera" when my windows is actually in portuguese (câmara instead of camera). When I open camera, it says it can't find a webcam. Any chance the webcam is damaged?

i think the camera is too old for windows 10 to support.

you could try to install the driver stated on logitech website http://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/3428

but i check the software QuickCam 8.4.8 is for windows 2k/xp, but you could try it.

Yeah, that's the software I installed, and even the software can't find my webcam xD I'll just order one from amazon, any suggestions? As I need to buy one now, I'm looking for a 720p on a budget, I'll just be using it for skype.

this is golden standard for web cam.

however, if you need cheaper choice, i use C525 before (720p with autofocus), it works fine for 720p.

EDIT: i already checked C525 is replaced with C615.
