New SSD just died

Teddy07

I bought a 120 GB Adata SU800 Ultimate ~2 weeks ago for my laptop and it worked fine.

My laptop crashed today while being in idle and now he doesn't even recognize that my SSD is connected. The laptop works fine with my HDD tho. I also disconnected my storage devices from my PC but he doesn't recognize the SSD too.

Seems like there is nothing for me to do except sending it due to warranty? At least I did save all my university stuff in dropbox so nothing important is lost. The SSD is pretty good rated. Was it my fault because it is not supposed to be on a laptop?

Thanks for help :)

I would just warranty it.  Seems like you received a bad part.  If the next one does it, then you might be a little concerned about what is possessing your laptop, but I think you'll be just fine.
