Asus prime B350 plus

Hi there folks...

 

I upgraded to the ryzen 1700 with the Asus prime B350 plus mobo back when ryzen launched.

 

I bought 8GB kit of corsair vengeance LPX ( https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233828&_ga=2.15691894.1750959582.1494763829-248975824.1492738158 ) 

 

I cant seem to get the ram to run any faster than stock 2133. I try every bios update and still nothing.  Im on most recent bios PRIME B350-PLUS BIOS 0609 and board just wont post even at 2400.

 

any help would be great   thanks

Did you enable XMP?

I tried enabling the DOCP profile thats on this uefi and nothing.

 

I tried manually selecting 2400,  2666 and 2933  and set the timing that is on the packaging and nothing    just wont boot and have to jump the bl ck pins to get a reboot

Have you tried raising voltage to 1.35v?

If you set slower timings it might allow you to get higher frequencies? IDK, not so great with RAM, I was just trying to help out a bit.

Kyle from bitwit just did a build on this same board with a different kit of ram but said it went to 3200 no problem.  so if my kit is rated for 3000 I should be able to get at least 2933 im assuming
