MSI command center not remembering my settings

Recently, my system and CPU fans, controlled by my MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard through MSI command center, have been defaulting to manual mode 100% when first turned on and remain like that until i manually change it to smart mode. Those settings stay until I turn it off then back on again, when it goes back to the way it was before. What is the problem here?

Does CC integrate with BIOS or does it just change speeds after you are in Windows? Have you changed anything in BIOS? Have you updated CC?
