Hybrid 1070?

I am looking to get a new gpu, a 1070, and don't know if I should go air or water. $450 is ok for me so I was looking between gigabyte xtreme and Evga hybrid. Noise and overclocking headroom is a concern for me. Which card is better for noise and oc headroom?

i would go air cooling one, for safety reason. you can get a custom loop in the future.

because im still salty at nvidia:

1070 owner here, a zotac gtx 1070.

theres a voltage limit on all gpus, 1.04v (from what ive seen w/ msi afterburner), the bios is encrypted, to flash the bios you need a certificate.

worst of all, my die is a piece of shit and only gets 1950mhz with gpuboost/my overclocking (anything more and its unstable, voltage throttles)

 

just get the cheapest thing
