Fried HDMI Port

On my ASUS ROG GL502VS Laptop I used a Dell monitor. Well the monitor and my HDMI port died too! The displayport still works but its bugging me. What should I do i believe its still under warranty? Please help!

If it's bugging you that much you could contact ASUS and see if you can get it fixed. Otherwise you can't really do much. Have you tested it with different monitors/cables?

If you've already eliminated bad cables/connections as the culprit and you're sure it's the HDMI port, then either have the board replaced, or just use DisplayPort if you can't afford to replace the unit.

I have tried it with a new dell monitor via HDMI, the laptop thinks it's plugged in and working but every monitor I try dosent work and yes I tried other cable.
