@mrvasset

1) Pretty much everyone is hyped for it ;)

2) I think it is a old idea (similar ideas have been around for ages), but that this is the time this technology really reach it´s potential :)

3) Well we have kind of already seen it, but I think that new materials and tech will make it lighter and reduce the motion sickness created by it.

4) FPS games :D

5) No I haven´t tried it yet :(

6) "Next gen" consoles is dead for me, but no I definitely do not think it will ever work on the Xbox One or the PS4.

7) I have no idea what so ever :(

8) Probably a fair bit more then "next gen" consoles...

I would love to own an Oculus, but definitly not getting first gen. :)

I like the concept of VR, though I would really like to see how Game Devs adapt to it.

It's kinda like the Razer Hydra in a way that it was interesting to see how motion sense can be integrated onto games but it never really took of. :|

I think it would be pretty crappy at at first, The hype is too huge and I think it's going to be one of those products that will not live up to expectations. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I would like to see implementations of FPS games on it. ( I mean have you seen Oculus + Omni?) Dream excercise program =))

I SRSLY DON'T WANT IT TO PLAY ON CONSOLES. It's not that I'm against consoles, I own an Xbox and a playstation, but unless these gaming consoles compare to at least a 760 in terms of graphics, the oculus will be wasted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but  I think it was announced before that it would cost around 300 Usd

Check out youtube channel called "Nathan Andrews", you can have both the Rift and the gun tracked independently. (He plays some HL2 and Black Mesa)

So you can be shooting down a hallway, hear a sound behind you and keep firing down the hallway whilst checking around you for more enemies. When someone produces a decent Gun tracker, or through the STEM trackers, FPSs should be amazing.

From my brief time on the HD Rift Prototype, I played War Thunder I think it was, a aerial dog fighting game, and it was certainly amazing to be able to look around the cockpit and such. Also the freedom to see stuff is so much better. With a M+KB, looking around whilst flying is pretty hard, with this it felt completely natural. Hell, I did an aerial roll and my felt my stomach turn when I did it.

Current DevKit costs $300, and they wish to keep the price the same for the consumer, but nothing confirmed I don't think.
