Hello everyone! First of all thanks for reading! 

So let's get to the "RIG"

 

Mobo: Asus Z170K

CPU: i3-7100

RAM: G.SKILL 8GB 2400mhz

GPU: EVGA GeForce 1050Ti

Case: VIVO SMART MicroATX

PSU: EVGA 500W1

Fan: Arctic F12   (2x)

Cpu cooler: 90mm 1800 rpm

HDD: 1TB 8MB Cache 5400RPM SATA 

 

But is it compatible?

Build it on PCPartPicker, as it'll alert you to any compatibility issues.

you would need a z270 board. a better build would be g4560, a b250, and an rx 570

i3 7100 is a kaby lake processor but Z170 boards are designed to run Skylake chips. Even though you can use a 7100 on a Z170 board (Z170 is compatible with kaby lake), you need to update the BIOS first, which needs a skylake chip in the first place

It can still be a kick-butt build if done right. It'll be able to run even newer AAA games at a playable frame rate on medium-high. And given enough RGB, this baby could really shine... ;)

You can often ask to have the board updated before its shipped.
