Best recording software

What's a good recording software that's free and doesn't create too much frame drops on the games. I heard obs is good probably going to choose that but I would still like to hear other suggestions of what other people use

Your best choice is OBS. Pretty much everyone uses besides stuff like Shadowplay but youd need a nvidia gpu or what ever amd versions called

I used shadowplay a ton. I never suffered any fps drops. I think there is one limitation to non nvidia gpu users, and if I am correct, it's that you can't record your microphone.

 

I now use obs because of how good it is if you pursue better variety and various other things...
