I want to overclock my i5 2500k with CM hyper 103, im testing it on stock speeds right now and on core temp, aida64 and HW monitor on idle it gives me around 37c, and on asus ai suite 2 temps are around 31c (i have asus motherboard, program is downloaded with drivers for my mobo), so which one is false? I dont think that with hyper 103 is37c on idle (probably around 20c in my room)

It depends on which reading it takes it from, as there could be multiple CPU temperature sensors. Some may read from the sensor right in the die, others may read from a sensor that's close enough to the CPU package, but not really on the CPU.

Since they're within an acceptable range, err on the side of caution and go with the higher temperature.

Well yeah i know that, but thing is the difference between 2 programs is 10c (guess something about timaxx difference) on idle on asus program is 27c and hwmonitor is 37c, and in bios temp is 23c.. I dont think its posible on hyper 103 that idle temp goes to 40c..
