I recently acquired a 1TB WD Blue in a Sabrent USB 3.0 (up to 5Gbps) external drive case. I have a MacBook from 2011 that I use heavily, although there are some programs that I own (Sony Vegas Pro 14), but don't work on OS X. Would it be possible to install a full version of Windows 10 Pro or Windows 7 Pro on this external drive? It connects to the computer via USB, and it also has wall power that is required. I would BootCamp or Dual Boot to the internal SSD, but it is only 120 GB, and I generally only have 20 GB free. The MacBook only has USB 2.0, but it does have a Thunderbolt 2 port as well, if that makes a difference.

I love memes. I make bad memes, but I like dank memes, who doesn't?

I am good at editing videos and pictures, feel free to message me if you would like some work done.

Thanks!

You can install it on your external HDD, but it will be slow.

P.s. you have thunderbolt 1, not 2.
