Memory not overclocking help?

I built a new PC yesterday and am having trouble with memory over locking and was wondering if it's something on my side or on the technological side?

CPU: Ryzen 5 1400 (OC to 3.8 GHz)

MOTHERBOARD: Asus Prime B350 Plus

RAM: Ripjaws 16Gb Kit, 3000MHz (2x8Gb)

PSU: VTX600 (80+ Bronze)

GRAPHICS CARD: GT 610 2 Gb

and download the latest bios

if that doesn't work micro code updates willbe coming amd later this month and then you will have to go back to the same link provided and flash the bios again

Thanks for the help, I've already updating the bios and all the drivers, yet still no possibility to OC

do you have the exact part number for the memory it may not be capable with ryzen with your board yet

The PC boots and works just fine, I just don't think it's overclockable yet with Ryzen

gskill only supports Flare X series for overlocking on ryzen and if you have a part number u can see if THE higher speeds are supported by Asus for that particular part number

and after looking the flare x seems to only supporting x370 boards for asus
