That's like asking if you should have two slices of plain white bread or a full turkey on sourdough sandwich.

SLI issues aside, what kind of games do you play? And do you do any creative work with Adobe apps?

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Because it helps determine whether or not you should even buy a 1070/1080 at the moment. If you plan on pushing 4K, or you want really high framerates for FPS or action games at 1080p, then a 1060 or 1070 is a great way to go. Otherwise, I'd personally save your money and buy a 1050Ti for now, since you might not be ready to buy a 4K monitor by the time better GPUs come out that can actually push more than 45-60FPS at 4K. Just my opinion though - if you've got money to burn, then by all means find a great deal on a 1060 or 1070 and call it good. :)

Thanks, I might just go the 1050Ti, depending on its performance. I'm really just looking to get a graphics card that can push out, 60 Fps ultra settings on most games at 1080p

a 1060 for 4k? let alone a 1070? What is going on in this thread? 1050Ti to max out all games at 1080p?

None of these things are true

That would be a 1060/580, not a 1050Ti.

Well, you're right - currently, there's not an affordably priced GPU on the market capable of pushing 4K at acceptable framerates, despite the entire game and entertainment industry telling us otherwise. So really, @That Mason Guy should probably get a 1060 to call it safe if he's after 60FPS on ULTRA settings in most games, and wait a while longer before sinking a ton of cash into the current high-end GPU market.
