What problem do you want to solve, Adobe software giving errors or your second monitor acting up when connected to DVI ports on GPU?.

The first one is a software thing most probably. The second one looks like hardware / firmware related. Could be software (driver) too. who knows.

Pick one, and start troubleshooting isolating things. That's the way you diagnose things.

I've updated the drivers. Nothing worked. Now it seems to be working after I removed the overclock. It also could be that I haven't cleaned my PC in a while. I assume there will be a lot of dust...

Hello guys, I've got an issue with Premiere Pro. I'm currently using the motherboard output on my motherboard for my secondary monitor. I've got an issue with the DVI from my GPU AMD 7950. However, my main monitor is connected via a HDMI which is no problem. The error message is "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again"

It works when I disconnect the secondary monitor. I've also ran gpusniffer.exe and I'm getting the same issue. All drivers are updated.

This issue still ongoing and I've made a thread a couple days ago. Please help.

Maybe Premiere Pro thinks you are trying to use SLI or crossfire, which you might not have set up propperly. (if you are using an Intel CPU, I highly doubt it would ever work if it's really an SLI or crossfire issue) Other then checking in this area, I've got no clue.

*PS: I have had issues with cloning desktop view while using an Nvidea GPU and my onboard APU.

Adobe software tend to be quite a pain when it's dealing with multiple video adapters. A.K.A multiple GPU's. (No not speaking of crossfire or SLI, im speaking of more than one entity capable of video output present in the system).

I had a similar problem with virtuMVP with my past 7950 + intel 4000hd. The only answer Adobe gave is "Adobe products are non compatible with multiple video adapters in the system". So no luck i had to plug my second monitor to my 7950HD or else photoshop would crash.

thing is... AMD cards bump the minimum GPU freq and voltage for dual monitors. Hence the card was hotter and noisier since 0db fan was not a thing back then.

Solution: Plug all your monitors to ONE card, do NOT use the motherboard video output.

Extra: Remember using WHQL drivers for maximum compatibility of adobe products. They are kinda picky, and most certainly don't like Alphas/betas/non WHQL drivers.

Cheers!

I've got an issue with my DVI ports on my GPU. If I plug them into my secondary monitor, the screen goes crazy and starts pixelate. I've got a HDMI cable that connected from my GPU to my primary monitor and it works fine. It's either the GPU or the second monitor which are causing problems.
