Painting your Ram

I don't know if painting your ram will increase the heat level. I heard that the best is to use PlastiDip is it true?

Plasticdip adds another layer, which will trap heat. Science bro!

 

I wouldn't add paint to it due to contacts and possibly shorting out stuff.

You paint the heat spreaders, not the RAM itself.  Its totally safe and I suggest plasti-dip
