Asus strix z270i m.2 booting??

Would it be fine if I let m.2 drive be my booting device with this Asus strix z270i??? thats because I recently read a asus z270g or asus z270i it would not be advisable..

Yes it works, I have the z270 tuf. You'll probably need to update your BIOS if you haven't already. I'm just using a 500gb m.2 drive and nothing else.

It should work if you plan on using just 1 m.2 drive. Contact Asus live chat and ask them for confirmation. Check that thread out
