u can give the oven trick a try but make sure that u dont cook anything in it again , i would just visit a hardware repair shop ( laptop repair workshops will do the trick too ) , they got hot air guns and reballing setups so they could fix it just like anyother board , but if a non generic component is fried , u must have a donor card or else u are pretty much done at this point

i used to send it back to the retailer and he would take it to the service centre and i pay for the expenses

Did my gpu just died or what? It's a 980 tho. And any fix?

My dad has a 980 and it is a godly card for 1080p. I don't see how it would break. Even if it broke, your computer would then use your cpu's integrated graphics. I have never encountered a problem like this so I don't know how to fix it. Try to trouble shoot a bit.

Contacted Asus. As it's asus variant, but they're asking for invoice slip.

Where did you buy it? Online retailers like Newegg and Amazon usually have an "Order History" section where you can find all your old invoices. Just download it as a PDF and attach it to the support ticket.

A video card being defective or failing has nothing to do with how "godly" it is. Circuitry can degrade regardless.

Your PC uses whatever video output device your monitor is plugged into. If you want to use the CPU's integrated graphics you would need to first re-enable it in the BIOS (most motherboards disable an iGPU if a PCIe video card is detected), and your monitor would need to be plugged into a motherboard video output rather than the PCIe card to get a video signal from it.

My dad has been overclocking his and pushing it for nearly 3 years now without a problems. That is why I tagged it "godly."

And you are correct about the second bit.
