Doing anything other than gaming? What resolution and refresh rate do you play at and does your monitor have g sync/freesync?

get a second hand 3rd gen i7 for about 100-aud AUD.  Buy more RAM (total 16gb) Spend everything else on the best gpu you can afford (GTX 1080 ti, 108, 1070, VEGA)

Total ~800 - 1200AUD

 

B)

Get an r5 1600/r7 1700 build with a good gpu  Total ~1400 - 2000 AUD

Hi guys Thanks for the replays Here are some more information: 

The PC is mainly for gaming. 
I don't really need to upgrade my monitor,I now have a 144hz monitor from AOC G2460P

I Should say I am looking for upgrading those parts that I posted.
