laptop mousepad not working

help guys i was using laptop when mousepad on my laptop stop working it can still move around but i cant click nothing like program or etccc anyway how can i fix this

are you using Synaptic drivers? Maybe "Enable tapping" was inadvertently uncheck in your mouse settings. In your Mouse properties >'Device Settings > Settings >Tapping check "Enable tapping" then press ok..

it says is on but still not working for  me sometime it work but when i click something it doest let go of the thing i click like a window tap and then it stops working again

also i spill little bit of juice on mousepad i dont know if that couse to not working maybe thats mousepad is working
