Hello all I am in the process of building my very first PC and I could use some help with choosing a GPU. I have done a ton of research but I am on a budget and having difficulty making the final choice so any input would be appreciated.

My Build:

CPU - Ryzen 5 1600

Mother Board - MSI B350 Tomahawk

RAM - GeIL EVO Potenza 2x4 Gb (8gb)

PSU - EVGA 650 80 plus gold

SSD - 120 gb ADATA sp550

HDD - 1tb WD Blue

Case - DIY VII W

I can't decide between the RX 580 4gb or 8gb and the GTX 1060 3gb or 6gb, keeping price in mind, and also nvidia is offering a free copy of either For Honor or Ghost Recon: Wildlands with the purchase of the GTX 1060 3gb or 86gb. I will list the prices of each below (prices are CAN$)

1. EVGA GTX 1060 3GB  SSC Gaming W/ for honor or wildlands $278.99

2. EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING DirectX 12 06G-P4-6262-KR 6GB  W/ for honor or wildlands $336.00

3. MSI Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 RX 580 ARMOR 4G OC 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX $282.00

so yeah let me know what you think will best suit my build and best bang for the buck while considering "future proofing" for the next few years........ Thanks for the help

The RX 580 is a great pick really. If you play on 1080p 4gb of VRAM is enough.
