after ~20 minutes in games, computer restarts

kioskhill45

This actually only happens in first person shooters that I play like bioshock 2 and csgo. I have no idea why it restarts. I am up to date on drivers and have detected no viruses.

ok, it's most likely overheating. I overclocked my cpu with a stock cooler, which I realise won't give good temps since I went from 3.5 to 3.8 Ghz. It's a ryzen 5 1500x btw.

I've replayed the game for ~5 minutes, but my temp monitor still says cpu is at a reasonable 47C. Is it not accurate or what?

now for ~10 minutes, cpu is 50C, system 37C, and TMPIN5 at 52C, whatever that is.
