Hello everyone

 

I'm looking for some reviews/experiences on the LG 29UM58-P Ultra Wide display.

I can get it for €230 at a local store.

Would you recommend this to a casual gamer?

Do you think there are other/better options for the same price? (€230)

I'd like to keep the price under €250.

This is a great buy if you have an AMD card. I own the 29UM68, which is essentially the same monitor, and I really like it. Mine is overclocked to 80hz and it's paired with an RX 480. I've also used this monitor with a GTX 1070, but you're limited to 60hz and can't use freesync.

Just to be sure, this model (29UM58) does not come with freesync, so it doesn't matter if I have an AMD gpu.
