Advice for a new Headset

Morning Guys ,

 

i've been happy user of a Logitech G35 for many years. But once again the struggle with the aritifical leather starts again (its dissolving from the cushion -___-) .

 

I know the overwhelming part of you dont recommend a gaming headset and advice the combination of a headphone + ModMic4 . I only got the onboard Sound of a several years old MSI Board. 

 

Given i'm very happy with sound and mic quality of the G35, is there any other gaming headset around 100$/100€ you guys can recommend ?

I've seen Steelseries Arctis 5, Cloud 2 and many more on review on the Internet, cant say that any of the finally convinced me to buy them (everyone has its own "flaw").

It should be Cloud 1 vs Arctis 3.

Both companies are going the same way, selling same products but with extra accessories that are not required and slap a new price on it.

Arctis 3 and 5 are the same model difference is the soundcard, same goes with cloud 1 and 2.

 

SQ wise, Clouds are more fun for playing games, quite accurate, bass is enough and enjoyable for dem explosions. Arctis 3 is also fun but not as fun as clouds, more comfy cos of the headband, + point is, you can use the surround sound software provided by Arctis 5 by using the SS engine and entering your serial number.
