Inserting motherboard

Hello

Every time i insert a motherboard i always get stuck when trying to insert it into the io shield they are always in the way. I feel like I need a thorough explanation on how to insert a motherboard correctly so I dont have to spend like 5-10 minutes doing that. I would be really happy if any experienced people could help me?

Edit: Meant io shield pins, not standoffs

Best regards

ok so are you getting stuck on the singular standof that pokes out to hold the board while you scew in the rest of the board? if so just lay the case down and put it in from the top, if you are somehow manageing to get it stuck on the standofs then just do the same thing. im just wondering what case you have right now tbh because inserting the motherboard is pretty much the easiest thing you do

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Oh, sorry. Thanks for the reply but i meant the pins on the io shield, not the standoffs. Corrected the typing mistake now

do you are getting your motherbord stuck on the I/O shield? ok then, those usiually stand out about 3-5 mm at max, did you put in your I/O shield untill it clicked in properly? if you did and you have made sure you have then i would suggest putting the motherboard in all the way but a bit forward and then gently sliding it(makeing sure not to scrape it against the standofs) so the I/O goes into the I/O sheild
