Grey Headphones

I know, this isnt really an Audio question, but do Grey headphones look good/ or atleast decent with most clothing?

As Im wanting to buy the HD 579

(Kinda wanted to get the HD 599s but I dont have a Noctua Jacket)

I know looks shouldnt really be a factor, but I dont want to look like a Clowm when using them in Public places

What drew you to the 579's over say the 598's?

Uhm...

Price as the 598s are just over Budget;

Dont really like the color

and

Wanted something a bit more recent

(Also some Reviewers said the HD 579s have a better sound curve)

 

Any reasons I should get the HD 599s over the HD 579s? I think they look decent, kinda white ish

What country are you in? In the US at least it's cheaper to get used 600's and new 598's than HD579's.

But Ill be using them for Gaming, and Music etc.

The cups of the 579's and 598's are the same other than a piece of foam over the 579's and it's unlikely that the drivers have changed. HD559's are almost 100 cheaper and use the same drivers; the more expensive models are more sidegrades than upgrades. HD600's are a massive step up from the modern 5XX's audio-wise but aren't portable.

With the 559s id have to get an adapter and pay shipping, which would set me back 25€

And I heard they have a more heavy and "thick" bass that bleeds a bit to the mids
