My computer crashes when i play games that are a bit hard to run. It freezes the frame and nothing happens.

I first started noticing it when i was playing battlefield 1 beta and it was crashing every 10 minutes while playing. I started looking into it and found out it crashes once my cpu reaches 80 degrees. If i removed my side pannel it worked normally. I then stopped playing battlefield 1 as the beta ended and played games like cs go and such so i didnt notice it. Now i started playing pu battlegrounds and it crashes and its very annoying when i get to the end of the match with my friends and i just crash and they have a player less. What can i do for it to stop crashing?

Specs:

CPU hladilnik Arctic Freezer 13

Sharkoon WPM700 Bronze

Crucial 8gb ddr4 ram 2400mhz

i5 6600k

Silverstone KL05B-W (case)

Palit gtx 1070 gpu

MSI Z170A PC MATE

My friends say it might be that my GPU isnt in correctly or that the cooler isnt good enough. Are there any suggestions i could do (i havent tried to push in the gpu harder or do anything with the cooler yet)

your CPU cooler is good enough, however
1. is your cpu overclocked? what voltage are you using?

if theres any more info i can also provide

BTW: is there any software that could let me see temperatures mid game so i could get more info when it crashes and such

These are my settings for the GPU in MSI afterburner. My thinking:

- maybe up the power limit (as it may need to consume more power? not sure about that)

- increase the temperature limit (sounds a bit risky?)

- download palit thunderbolt (i have a palit GPU and here i can adjust fan speeds to keep it cooler and at what temp what the fan speed should be)

- get more fans in my case?

any other suggestions? This is what i came up with

So these are the results i got as it crashed.

What do they mean:

GPU: Temperature; Usage; Fan Speed

MEM: Memory Usage
D3D11: Framerate

CPU: CPU Temperature; CPU Usage

RAM: Ram Usage

perhaps your pc is crashing or freezing because you dont have enough ram

while gaming it looks like youre using up 95% of your ram

consider disabling background apps and services and/or upgrade to more ram
