Cooling options for a server

Ok guys so another noob question with the the help of a few people on here already I decided to come back for more help. I have a Dell poweredge T610 running FreeNas, as well as a dell poweredge 2970 in a server cabinet i got from my local college. My question is what are the options i have to cool at least the T610, I've tried looking up what i could do and i wasn't able to find any options. I am already looking at a 1u server fan to put into the cabinet. Any help would be appreciated thank you . I also have about 6 spare 120mm fans lying around from a few computers i gutted.

well the T610 isnt in rack formation as one of the rails broke and i have to get it replaced but i was just wondering if there is any other heat sinks i could get for it other than stock dell heatsinks or other ways to keep it running cool to keep the room its in cool as well especially with summer coming up

no need, there is an OBSCENE amount of small fast fans in those systems, like the delta

idk

The Dell T610 as stated isnt a rackmount - its a desktop format, and it has dual 80mm fans.

So are these servers in an enclosed space like a cupboard? making sure the space the rack is in is well ventilated is going to make the largest difference.

the dell ones are fine and will dissipate the heat even under heavy load in a hot environment if required (not a good idea, get air con in your server room if you have multiple servers working)

what you should be worrying about is power consumption and how much will this system use as older less efficient systems use a lot of power and can be replaced by a more powerful and efficient system.

****SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IT'S REALLY TERRIBLE*****

Been married to my wife for 3 years now! Yay!

@Droidbot is partially correct. However, most servers are designed to be run in a cool, dust free space. You you run it in your garage for a few months you'll see it might start thermal throttling, depending on the amount of dust in the area. Normally you'll be fine, but due to the cramped internals of a server, if your running in this environment, try to open it up and clean it out every 6 months or so.

Air conditioned environments are also better, if you want it to last longer.

Well right now i have the Dell in a server cabinet ( that i got for $20 from my colleges liquidation sale) in the spare room i have my personal PC, im using it as a plex server with 6 TB hard drives in it running RAID 6 and am just worried about keeping that room in general cool as i have noticed the temp go up in the evening as well as with summer coming i want to make sure everything well be fine. I dont have a garage or spare closet i can keep it in due to me living in an apartment. I have a 20' box fan i keep in that room now when i notice the servers fans kick in to high . I was thinking about getting a 1U fan unit but im also afraid that the noise will be unbearable if i do that....the only options i can think of is either keeping it in a closet  if i made room and have a fan in there as well otherwise my last option is to get a portable AC unit and have it in my computer room. I was just wondering if the Dell T610 can be modded with more or bigger fans or what else i can do to just keep it cool and the room in general cool as a box fan isnt a efficient solution.

UPDATE: I ended up doing this for now
