Can I save my files directly to my nas storage somehow? Like my camera recordings which will be 4k and large in size

Not sure what you mean by directly saving, but you can use windows explorer. That's the closest thing you will get to direct.

By direct I meant directly to nas hard drives and not my internal hard disk

Map the share to a drive letter such as this: https://www.synology.com/en-global/knowledgebase/DSM/help/DSM/Tutorial/store_with_windows

or using the Synology Assistant to map the drive.

 

Then you can just open that drive letter to save to the NAS, or if you're using a software for your camera - set the default download location to that drive.

Nope, that's not what NAS's are meant for, and you won't be able to do that. The point of a NAS is to not have to directly attach your storage to your computer.
