New Dual Computer Setup.

Alright, so I've made some changes, and I've upped the budget on both.

Most of the changes were cosmetic but some were for performance I.E Upping the RAM on both systems because YOLO, and changing the GPU on the Gaming rig. I've also included any mod's or cosmetics that will be included. Anything crossed out has already been purchased! Let me know what you guys think! Any way I could possibly better my rig? I'll post the Gaming Rig, Then The Streaming Rig, then all of my Peripherals. Please try not to suggest something that has already been purchased, I can't return them.

What is the advantage of having a separate gaming and streaming pc and not just getting an R7 1700 and doing both on one system?

As for suggestions.....I'd suggest a cheaper mobo/ram/fans for the gaming pc, but I'm assuming you're pretty set on those for cosmetic reasons.

Ease of control and management of the stream in real time, I've tried switching to a single PC streaming setup and it's just not the same.

@djdwosk97 Because of the fact of the Stream taking up ALL of the CPU power, and most games rely on CPU Strain, so my games may be good quality, but hard to play.

Having a second streaming PC will eliminate the possibility of not enjoying what I'm playing, while entertaining others.

It's just a preference.

And yes, sadly the Fan's won't be changed, I'd be putting some beQuiet fans in the streaming build, the Mobo for the Gaming PC is mainly cosmetics and multiple GPU compatibility, and the RAM is for cosmetics, and I'd like the overkkill.

An R7 1700 would provide plenty of power for both streaming and gaming simultaneously, but I guess the second point (and @KuJoe) makes sense....I've never streamed so I don't really know what managing a stream is like.

There are plenty of cheaper boards that support SLI, but cosmetic reasons I understand.

Yeah, it's definitely a positive for stream productivity. But anyone have any other recommendations? Maybe swapping parts for the Streaming PC, or adding a peripheral?

Does strictly streaming really require such a powerful cpu? Wouldn't something like a G4560 be more than enough?

I don't know if you've thought about it or not, but what about throwing both systems into a single tower?

Wouldn't really appeal to the whole internal Capture Card. Plus you need more cores for streaming, so the G4560 wont do enough.

Couldn't you use Quicksync on the G4560?

get a cheaper gpu for the stream pc, a 5450 will be fine here, you only need cpu power

Use the stock cooler for the stream pc, its more than enough.

Get a bigger ssd for the gaming pc, and id personally get something like a 960 pro if your going all out.

PSU is overkill on both, id go for 500w on the gaming, and that 360w seasonic 80+gold on the streaming, it will save you power.

I want the 750w due to possibly doing some Watercooling. The other one is just for YOLO's. The stock cooler won't do as well as the Cryorig due to airflow. I'm trying to keep the budget near $2,000 for the Gaming Rig. The 960 would be too much.

I made minor changes, based on my own experiences with certain manufacturers and tried to squeeze in better components without altering the prices you were willing to pay already.

The gaming rig has a Asus gpu, since they have by far the greatest cooling out of any card I have ever bought. The Gskill Ram can sync with the Asus mobo's Aura feature and looks overall better than the corsair ones.  The PSU is the same I use in my private rig, and it is amazing (I watercool my system too btw, and the its fan never turns on which keeps my system silent). The SSD is also significantly better than the 850 you had in there before. All of this while staying within the same pricerange for both builds combined. :)

Dude, If I hade the gaming rig alone I would be a happy guy. Those gskill rams look dope af! I love the design of Asus rog cards! Kinda envious, this looks lilke it will be a beautiful build. jealous! THe streaming rig looks better than the original one too. Better gpu (even though it is not strictly necessary, but considering that you set out to stick to the original budget anyway, I see that you swapped better components in). Overall well done @honor

It looks like you've chosen our STAND-V003 triple monitor stand, but we would instead recommend using STAND-V003M with those monitors.  V003 is only large enough to hold three 24" monitors in a row, so the 28" monitor wouldn't be able to fit with the other two.  V003M has room for up to three 27" monitors and will give you the flexibility you need.

Enjoy that super awesome dual PC gaming streaming VR setup that makes a choir of angels fly down and chant songs of glory every time you power on the system!

@honor Seriously man, this is a LOT cooler than the previous plans, MORE RGB? I love you so much LOL. I definitely wanted an M.2 SSD but thought it wouldn't be possible! You are definitely right, as much as I love Corsair, I'm going to have to give it to G.Skill on the LED brightness and overall look. Absolutely insane. Definitely eventually thinking about water cooling the main rig and putting the X62 in the Streaming Rig. But over time haha. I didn't realize the 460 was $90 so good on you! Thanks for the insight! Very impressed and will be getting these instead +1 Rep
