Hi guys,

 

recently I decided to upgrade my cheap NAS with a unRaid Server, because I need faster transfer speeds.

I've got a i7 4770 32gb or DDR3 Ram and a good motherboard.

My question is now: the rest of my local net needs a standard 1 Gbit connection to the Server but my personal PC needs a better link (for Video editing etc.). Can I install for example install a ASUS thunderbolt 3 card in my Server and personal PC and get a 40 Gbit link? And if yes how can I configure that?
