Vegas Pro 13 question

Quick question, I'm editing on vegas pro 13 and I have 4 " timelines " or tracks or whatever you call them, normally you have video on track 1 and audio below on track 2, I want to move it down to track 2 but it won't, for some reason the video stays on track 1 and the audio goes to track 3, instead of them going to 1-2 or 3-4, its hard to explain, but they are basically having gaps between them.

 

Ok it seems like a temporary fix is to move both the vid/aud to 2/3 then it allows me to move it down to 3/4, not sure if it was intended this way or not.

hey! i have problem with vegas pro 13.0 memorie. i have videos with 17,4 MB and 8,31MB, song takes only 120 Mb. WHEN I RENNDER EVERYTHING THIS VIDEO TAKES 89 Gb, can everyone help me please? i dont know what should i do? thanks!
