i5 7600k bottleneck?

will a i5 7600k bottle neck a 1070? or does it just depend on the game and wether its cpu intensive or if the game is optimized and stuff?

getting 100% cpu usage and 70% gpu usage on for honor at 1080p

yes, that's a bottleneck.

It will always depend on the program, but no. 

 

For Honor seems to have a poor balance of AI since there could be no one around and you'll sit at 70% usage and then 30 soldiers come in and you're still at 70%.

You're experiencing a CPU bottleneck in For Honor. Whoever Ubisoft contracted didn't do too well on the engine.

for honor is a very CPU intensive game, an i7 would have been better. games are slowly evolving for pc, more cores are getting used, if you want to avoid bottleneck play at 1440p, i5 7600k is a decent CPU but not the best for gaming at 1080p(even ryzen beats it in newer games).
