is it Possible to run a single nvdia GPU on a motherboard thats supports only CrossFire. I bought the ASUS H270F GAMING motherboard and im planning on getting a MSI Geforce GTX 1050 TI GAMING X 4GB . Im not planning on getting to GPU's unless i can get a good reason and a good gpu from amd. Also do i need a Z motherboard or can i run  a I5-7600K on a H270F without overclocking

Yes, it should work. Crossfire is a way to connect two AMD GPU to work together. Nvidea uses a system called "sli". It's intended to work with a second GPU, if you have one. Running a single card would work just fine, just ignore all them fancy dual GPU solutions.
