Random PC lockups

Hi everyone,

For the longest time since I've been using windows 10, my PC would randomly lockup, and freeze on me

My mouse cursor would still be able to move but once I click on something, that's when the freezing would happen.

During these freezes, I would try to restart with the restart button but then it takes me to a 'select boot os' black screen after the bios, the only real remedy is that I hold the power button and do a hard shut down.

I've reinstalled a number of times and it still happens to me, does anyone know what I can do?

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it!

my xbox has been doing freezes during games.  when it freezes its more like a looped .75second stutter but my x symbol button will still operate the dashboard menu and the stutter resolves self after 5 to 10 seconds.  so i believe this is a known kernal level buffer handling problem with not having a designated kernal thread to buffer handling the way usb controller handles 10 usb devices at once.

ok so I think I figured out what was the problem...

I was going through hardware and I uninstalled killer network and I seem to be doing ok now... is there a reason why this is so?
