Cheap ram

10 plus shipping?  Can't find anything cheaper. It needs to be at 4 gb.

He probably thought the 60 USD was for the RAM.

10USD is quite cheap for 4GB DDR3 RAM. New it would be about 25 or so USD.

 

In theory it's alright. RAM = RAM. But with any stick of your RAM: you can run into compatibility  issues. Generally with quite generic RAM like this you're fine.

(make sure it's DDR3 you need on the motherboard, by the way)

Yes I do need ddr3. The board is a Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 and the CPU is a amd fx6300 (my first amd desktop CPU) I asked here if this board and CPU combo is worth 60 bucks which is what my friend is selling for. I'm putting this in a secondary case I have laying around.
