This build has gone through many changes, however I'm still not sure on CPU/GPU choice. My target is 1920x1080p60 gaming, however I am not looking forward to futureproof for any upcoming titles nor do I have an urge to play on ultra settings, just to half my frame rate for unnoticed effects (then again ultra benchmarks give an idea of frame rate headroom and worst case scenario on efficient and visually appealing high-medium settings, I think). Money is not a problem, but who likes to spend more than they really need right?

These are the components I'm stuck between choosing -

i5-6400 - 174.85€

i3-6320 - 164.73€

i3-6300 - 133.83€

i3-6100 - 111.70€

EVGA 1060 3GB SC - 215.92€

EVGA 1060 6GB SC - 258.95€

And while I'm here, might get more opinions on RAM. 8GB enough for gaming and RAMdrive for 10 minutes of 1280x720p60 ShadowPlay footage?

r5 1600, rx 480/580

8gb enough for gaming, probably not ramdrive. don't know about shadowplay, I thought it writes to ssd/hdd.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

take the i5 and try too take a look at RX 480 8Gb version or try to search for price reduction on a GTX 1070 to be at a lock 60fps on every game at 1080p however the 1070 is quite overkill for 1080p

Nvidia fanboy here, also think 4GB is just enough. 1070 is overkill as 1060 ultra benchmarks showed, and it's also 415€ for the cheapest KFA2 one here.
