i formated it to clear all the garbage from it. i am going to re-reformat it again.

crap forgot to come back about 2 hours ago. but its still happening

Have you also tried a different program for back-up if this gives the same results?

 

if anything i could do a manual backup. i find it more reliable. in fact i have done it everytime i have had to reinstall.

It must be an issue on the device but i have never used Windows Back-up so I can't really help you with it.

You can try a different back-up program maybe that will solve your issue and makes it possible to make back-ups automatically.

i have acronis so i dont really care.
