I currently am using a g751 laptop with a 970m, and it is overclocked +135 on core and +550 on the memory. The performance is good but I would like to push it farther. Temperatures are excellent, so no worries there. I just need help flashing a custom vbios for my 970m that allows it to overclock past +135mhz on the core. Btw I am using windows 10, not 8 or 7.

The 970m never exceeds 67c, and the cpu never has to throttle, so I think I am good for at least a little overclocking.

it's really not a good idea, laptop cooling solutions aren't built for overclocking, they're made for stock clocks and stock voltages

Thank you for the concern, but I think that a little overclocking would not raise temperatures too much, I would not let the gpu get over 80c. But even then you still think its a terrible idea?

Yes, it is. The GPU not going over 67 doesn't mean it's a good idea to overclock. Overclocking raises temps quite alot. Ontop of that, Laptops don't really have amazing power-delivery systems, which is equally important for overclocks. If your not happy with your performance maybe it's time to upgrade.
