So a couple days ago my MSI R9 380 decided to boil itself to the point of no rescue and now i have to buy a new GPU. Unfortunately it decided to commit suicide under a month before i bought an expensive 144hz BenQ monitor and now i have to keep the budget quite tight. Ideal pricing would be 200€ but with my performance standards thats not gonna happen. Im looking at the RX480s and 580s but they tend to lean more towards the 300€ mark and thats a bit too much for me. I live in EU so stores like Newegg are not an option. Suggestions?

You should also be able to flash the BIOS from a 480 to a 580 with this card.

rx580 or GTX 1070 or wait for VEGA.

If you are willing to go used market there are very good deals on 980ti's worldwide, and those cards are by all means still high end beasts

To my knowledge Newegg is in NA only? The price is going to rise quite a bit when the shipping costs to Finland are included.

Is the 8 gigs of vram really needed tho? I barely get over 3 in most games.

Nope. If you go to newegg.com and go up top where you see the American flag, you can change which country you search though to one in your region.

I personally would say yes. More and more games are relying heavily on the VRAM so the more the better. Also, with the 480 8g you can flash its BIOS to be a 580 8g. So there is that added bonus.

Well since the price difference is so small it cant hurt either.
